Sign upClosing the real estate industry skills gap - listen to the discussion from our recent event
The Lloyds Bank Sustainability & ESG Finance team in partnership with Real Estate Balance and Addleshaw Goddard convened a panel of property professionals to explore strategies to help close the skills gap in the real estate industry.
The event, at Addleshaw Goddard in London, was introduced by our Chair, Jo Davis, and the panel was comprised of:
- Chinyelu Oranefo - Director, Sustainability and ESG Finance, Real Estate at Lloyds Banking Group
- Carl Konadu - CEO and Co-founder at 2-3 Degrees
- Cressida Curtis - Group Sustainability Director at Wates
- Jennie Colville - Head of Sustainability at Landsec
- Lee Shankland-Gort - Head of ESG and Housing Finance at Addleshaw Goddard
They discussed how our industry is facing a lack of skills and ways organisations can address the challenges this poses alongside wider equity, diversity and inclusivity issues and how we can become more attractive to young people and up-and-coming professionals.
Thank you to Chinyelu, Cressida, Jennie and Lee and to all who attended and contributed to the conversation.
