We are very pleased to announce that Kelly Cleveland, Head of Real Estate and Investment at British Land, has joined the Real Estate Balance Board of Directors.
Kelly joins as British Land Chief Executive Simon Carter steps down from the Board after more than two years in preparation for his tenure as President of the British Property Federation from summer 2025.
In her role as Head of Real Estate and Investment, Kelly has overall responsibility for asset management, leasing and investment activity across the British Land portfolio. Since joining the business in 2011 from Grosvenor, she has held roles in corporate finance, led the Strategy team and became Head of Investment since 2016. She joined the Executive Committee in November 2020, and is Executive Committee lead for British Land’s REACH (Race, Equality, and Celebrating Heritage) and NextGen Staff Networks.
Kelly is also a Non-Executive Director at FTSE250 Sirius Real Estate, and has worked in UK real estate since 2004.
Speaking about her appointment, Kelly said:
“Real Estate Balance has such an important role to play in ensuring our industry remains an inclusive sector for all. I look forward to working with my fellow Board members and the wider REB community at such a crucial time in the evolution of the EDI landscape.”
