Event details
Date: 26th March 2026
Time: 5:30pm–7:30pm
Address: Eversheds Sutherland, 1 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7WS
CEOs and senior leaders at more than 45 organisations in UK real estate and its associated sectors shared verbal submissions for the fact-finding mission into the practices having an impact. A further 25 companies provided written case studies. A steering group comprising individuals from REB members including Hines, Aviva Investors, HSF Kramer, BCLP, Knight Frank, Nuveen Global, LocatED, L&G Asset Management, iQ Student Accommodation, Octopus Real Estate, Montagu Evans and more reviewed all the evidence.
We are now looking forward to sharing the findings of this member-led study at this session in London kindly hosted by Eversheds Sutherland in London, with speakers including:
- Melanie Collett, formerly of Aviva Investors (co-Chair of the steering group)
- Mary Edmunds, Senior Managing Director for Human Resources, Hines (co-Chair of the steering group)
- Akanksha Soni, News Editor, Estates Gazette (Moderator)
- James Brandon, Director, CBRE UK
- James Trafford, Partner and Co-Head of Global Real Estate & Planning, Eversheds Sutherland
Their conversation will explore how the organisations who took part are reimagining progression, leadership and work itself - and what others can realistically adopt across the different business models in our industry.
We hope you will join us to reflect on the findings, learn from peers, and contribute to the next phase of collective action to close the real estate leadership gender gap.
